Fragments Ceramics

In this project i have explored how micro plastics are overflowing into the environment through creating a ceramic carton sculpture. I started with initial sketches and samples to represent mosses growing out of plastic objects. Which then developed in to moulding waste plastic pieces to look as if they are bursting out of the ceramics. I applied a dark blue glaze which had a gloss texture to represent a plastic carton.
